Enthusiasm

Enthusiasm moves the world.
Arthur Balfour

enthusiasm
From Greek 'en' meaning inner, thousiasmos, from theos meaning 'God'
i.e. ‘possessed by a god, inspired.’

This may seem as a detour from the original idea of starting this blog, but please bear with me.
I used to have a serious passion for painting. 'went to art school for 5 years. Here are a couple of much earlier works, it's taken me a while to really recognise that I really love practicing, practicing, practicing and finding the art in creating something worthwhile.

'Red Shoes'
40x25cm Oil on linen

'Flower in a Jar'
28x28cm
Oil on gessoed panel

That's actually the core of my practice as a therapist, my enthusiasm for doing something worthwhile in helping people to get better to come out.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my blog!
Have a great day!
